I really do!! I haven't got used to the electronic book idea. I know, I know....once I start, I will never go back. I guess that I'm just not ready to start yet. There is something about holding a book, touching each page and eagerly turning it as want to read what happens next.
Some great books I've read lately are The Tehran Initiative by Joel Rosenberg, I am currently doing a study by Kelly Minter. It's a study on Nehemiah (I felt prompted by God to study him). I have on inter library loan, "The Circle Maker."...can't wait to read this....it's about prayer and God answering our prayers. I also LOVE decorating books,
Blessings,

I'm with you, Holly. I am just NOT an e-book person. I want to hold the book and feel the pages and smell that "book smell". It is all part of the reading experience to me. xo Diana
Oh Holly, I so agree with you, there is nothing quite like turning the page of a real book and like Diana, I love the aged fragrance of a well read book.
As I sit here and look at all the gold printed spines in our library, I feel quite sorry for those who do not or cannot appreciate their beauty.
My hubby is the more avid reader in our house and he would no doubt add, "it's not quite the same sitting in the loo with a piece of plastic in hand!" LOL!
Have a wonderful day.
Holly, I agree with the other ladies. I prefer holding a book in my hands too. Enjoy your studies. Linda
I'm just grinning! Okay, smiling really big. I have a Kindle (plain B&W, not the Fire). I like it for being able to read in bed - easy to hold, no pages to turn. I like it's simplicity (like an etch-a-sketch) and very easy on the eyes. I also play games on it. It's easy to cart w/you a "bunch of things" instead of ... a bunch of things (reading things). But, nothing feels like a book, I agree. And I toss over and over which I'd rather have. Hmmmm. I opened my Strong's Exhaustive Concordance today (got it in the 70's) and the smell of the paper was wonderful. I do have a leather cover on my Kindle. It smells better with time. I haven't read the latest Rosenberg book, that is the 2d in the latest trilogy, isn't it? Read the others in his first set too. Great books. And, you KNOW I loved the Nehemiah study. How's it going? Enjoyed your post a bunch! And still smiling, even bigger still!
