Impossible

...
Alice laughed. "There's no use trying," she said: "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
What impossible things have you believed done recently?  I can't wait too hear!

Blessings,

Isn't that the truth?!  I don't know about you, but sometimes that was all I had...and, it was enough.
Aren't you so grateful for the One Who is Hope?!
Wishing you a hope-filled day!

Blessings,

It is well

...
                found it here

Are you living the life you had planned?  Did life happen like you imagined?  Mine didn't, but it's okay.  In fact, it is well.  It is well...with my soul...  And you?
Blessings,

Changing...

Okay, I am on an Alice in Wonderland kick.  I love that book!  Love the quotes! Love that it makes you think and that I can relate to so much of what the characters said! I know, scary, isn't it!
Today, I share with you what Alice said to the caterpillar.
"Who are YOU?" said the Caterpillar.
This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

I don't know about you, but I am in the process of changing and so far it hasn't stopped.  But, I rather like it because I think I'm getting better...I think...
and you?

Blessings,

Keep it Simple

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

Isn't that the truth!
I hope you have an uncomplicated and fun-filled day!!

Blessings,

Oh Happy Day

Spring is nature's way of saying, "Let's party!"  ~Robin Williams
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day!!
Blessings,

Would you tell me, please...

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.
I tell the children at school that if they aim at nothing, they will surely hit it.  It is good to have a direction.  So, where are you going today?

Blessings,

Pink Feet = Happy Feet

I did not have three thousand pairs of shoes, I had one thousand and sixty.  Imelda Marcos
Gotta love a woman who can justify how many shoes she has...especially if they are pink!
Which one is your favorite pair?

Blessings,

. . .

This picture touched my heart when I saw it.  I hope it touches yours...
My f-in-law was in WWII.  He said that for many years after the war, he felt like he could not come to God because of the "things that he had done".   Most of us haven't been in any wars, but we have felt that way.  Guess what?  My father- in-law is home with God now, because he realized what God had done for him and that any man can come to God.  I really love my father-in-law.
By the way.  Do you know a veteran?  Thank them. Thank God for them. Hug them. Pray for them.

The Dash

I'm sure that you have heard this before, but it is still a wonderful reminder about how to live our life.

 got it here.
The Dash
By Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning…to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who love her
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars…the house…the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what’s true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile…
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy is read
With your life’s actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

Blessings,

Spring Fever

Are you ready for Spring?  I am.  We have some days that make you "think" it's coming, but I've learned that it's really a trick.  We still have more winter coming...I know we do.  I like winter, but I like change too.

  Got it from here.

Passionate Pink

I was looking for quotes for Pink Saturday and saw this one by Elizabeth Taylor:
I fell off my pink cloud with a thud.

I found another quote of Elizabeth Taylor's that I liked.
"I feel very adventurous. There are so many doors to be opened, and I'm not afraid to look behind them."
I don't know about you, but I believe her.  She was passionate about so much!  I wonder if she was passionate about pink?!  Here's wishing you a Passionate Pink Saturday! Please stop by to see Beverly and the other ladies who participate in this fun party!
Blessings,

Just one

I found this quote on Pinterest and went to see where it came from and then found the most lovely post by a fellow blogger, Kelly at Kelly's Korner.  I love this quote!  Sometimes we feel like we can't make any kind of a difference when really if we help even one, then we have made a difference in the kingdom.  Please stop by and say hello to Kelly.  Her post will touch your heart.

If you're headed in the right direction, each step, no matter how small, is getting you closer to your goal. By the way, where are you going?

The fruit of faith always blooms in the darkest hour.
Isn't this the truth?  If it weren't for the dark times, I wouldn't be who I am today.

Whatever is good

Do you ever struggle with your thoughts?  I think it is easier for some than others to focus on what is good.  But, I'm pretty sure that God knew it would be troublesome at times which is why He reminded us to let our mind dwell on what is good.
Finally..whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.  Phil 4:8 2-15
May your day be filled with joyful and peaceful thoughts!
