The doormat
Years ago I had a doormat that said, "Go ahead and walk over me. Everyone else does." It was funny. I laughed. There have probably been times where we have been like that door mat - either a "oncer" or one who continued on in that role for awhile. You know, it's not easy to change, but it is possible. God intended the best for our lives. His word says that He did not give us a Spirit of fear, but of Power and Love and a Sound Mind. So, next time you go shopping for a door mat, get something like this.

I think most of us need to keep reminding ourselves of that, Holly. It is easy to become a doormat when we don't realize our own worth. Great post-xo Diana
