Alice with Dormouse, Mad Hatter and March Hare at the Mad Tea Party
 :)
What did you find that was possible?  Here is to all those who believed!

Blessings,

Cindy and Alice

Alice in Wonderland is one of my most favorite stories. There are some wonderful quotes such as this one.

Alice laughed. "There's no use trying," she said: "one can't believe impossible things."

"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

How about you? Have you thought of the impossible but hopeful things? I have. Adventure is what keeps us going sometimes. We keep trying. Take blog giveaways for example. Have you ever wanted to win one? I have and I did! Not only did I win one, but two blog giveaways in one week! Why that is at least 2 impossible things and I am quite happy with that.

The first giveaway that I am going to share with you today is from Cindy at http://cindyadkinswhimsicalmusings.blogspot.com/. Cindy is always creating wonderful items to either give away or sell and is also a newspaper writer. (Where do you get the energy to do that?) She had giveaways all week long and I was one of the honored winners. I received this delightful matchbox covered in an Alice in Wonderland print full of heart confetti and tucked away in an organza bag. Isn’t it wonderful? Thank you, Cindy. You are so talented!

Happy Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday all of you Pink Lovely Ladies!!  I hope this weekend finds you well and warm!  Our temperature has been in the negatives this week - they say that is the first time in 10 years.  Baby, it's cold outside!!
Anyhoo...I wanted to show you a doll that I have listed on eBay this week.  I think that I am just a wannabee doll maker.  I love, love, love making dolls - I love the process and seeing who it is that will appear.  This doll is the Queen of Hearts but I have to say she doesn't have the Queen of Heart attitude goin' on.  She has a sweet face and a Marie Antoinette "do".  She wears an Edwardian style dress in black, pink, and metallic gold and her fingers are bendable.  Her stand is black and white to match her stockings.
I would love your feedback....please let me know what you think and any advice would be pinkly appreciated!

Have a wonderfully warm pink day and remember to stop by and say "hello" to our lovely PINK hostess Beverly!  She's awesome!

A while back there was a beautiful bottle up for bid on eBay with an Alice in Wonderland theme. I contacted the eBay seller of this bottle and asked if I could post a picture of it on my blog. Little did I know that the artist of this bottle is the proprietor of rosesonmytable.com. Zinnia is the artist and runs this wonderful web page. It is a place for artists to come and share their ideas and learn new artistic endeavors. Please visit Zinnia and the other talented members there. By the way, isn't this bottle fabulous? I LOVE Alice in Wonderland. What a delightful story! Thank you, Zinnia, for allowing me to post this bottle on my page.
