A New Years Blessing for You

As we say goodbye to 2012 and look toward the new year with hope, my prayer is that you will be blessed with His richest blessings!
Here are a few quotes I found to bring in the New Year.

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves. ~Bill Vaughan  (Frankly, I'm not a New Year's kind of girl, so I'm usually in bed by that time).
Jayne Mansfield cheers in the new year.

We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. ~Edith Lovejoy Pierce (I love this one...maybe I'll do more in my art journal for this one)

I Am the New Year
I am the new year. I am an unspoiled page in your book of time.
I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the last twelve months.
All that you sought and didn’t find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search it but with more determination.
All the good that you tried for and didn’t achieve is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires.
All that you dreamed but didn’t dare to do, all that you hoped but did not will, all the faith that you claimed but did not have—these slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened by the touch of a strong purpose. I am your opportunity to renew your allegiance to Him who said, "Behold, I make all things new."

Those are some great quotes. Each one has something to think about. The last line in the last one is rather powerful.
Thanks for stopping by lately. I replied to you on my blog that I'm not sure where I've been lately - I guess just busy .. but I have not gotten by your blog or other blogs much, if at all. I miss your daily posts - even if I do stop by weekly to see them.
I had someone else comment on the Harbinger after you did - I went to see what it's about -sounds interesting. I see there's an ebook. That's easy enough to get hold of. :) Thanks and Happy New Year.... art journal...art journal....

So, you're book's not on Amazon?
